Tasks

  • Determines the policy of the youth committee, in consultation with the other youth committee members and the Chairman, and is responsible for its implementation.
  • Coordinates the various committee tasks.
  • Leads the meetings of the youth committee.
  • Takes care that the executive committee is informed by himself, or by another member of the youth committee appointed for that purpose, about the state of affairs within the youth department during the season.
  • Represents the youth department on official occasions.
  • Has a coordinating task in the recruitment of youth committee members and stimulates this where necessary.
  • Performs recruitment activities for new youth players.
  • Is responsible for the recruitment of youth trainers.
  • Ensures that the job descriptions are implemented.
  • Identifies problems that may arise between leaders, trainers, players and parents and passes them on to the relevant coordinator. If necessary, takes on a mediating role.
  • Together with the treasurer of the youth committee, draws up an annual budget, which has to be presented to the treasurer of the daily board, at the latest during the last board meeting of the season.
  • Monitors this budget and makes adjustments if necessary (expenses remain within the budget).
