The challenges for the treasurer
Do you also tell yourself every year that arranging the finances for the club should be easier?
Take the collection of contributions; in the event of a reversal, no balance or incorrect account number, you must manually follow it. It takes too much time to get the budget balanced or to process the changes by the end of the season. And all those loose paper invoices and registration forms from new members make the administration a mess.
It may give you annoyance or even some frustration. You have a lot of repetitive and time-consuming activities, which makes the treasurer less fun. Money is always a difficult subject to discuss and you also notice that there is structurally too little in the greenhouse. Still you have a heart for the club and are looking for a solution. That can and should be better!
